Grief is an original acrylic abstract there is no ordered design, it is a series of overlapping circles in different shades. This painting originated in my anger and loss of losing my four legged friend as it mellowed into grief. I painted purely with colour with the lighter colours overlaying the darker ones as emotions and feelings settled down.

I began painting last year (2021) during one of the numerous lockdowns and slow reopening of society and it has allowed me to enjoy my love of colour and random shapes. Painting has also offered me a way to control pain, this is my relief and my pleasure and I want to share my joy with everyone. I have very disobedient hands which decide for themselves what they will and will not do, this can at times cause some unusual effects but that is why I like this style of painting.
